We will deliver certain products for a delivery fee. The fee is based upon the mileage from our location. Subject to availability.
The right time to fertilize strongly depends on the weather conditions that you are experiencing. If you have the capability to water the fertilizer in the ground, then the fertilizer may be applied at any time. However, if you are dependant totally on rainfall, it is better to wait until the ground receives some moisture and the temperature begins to warm above 70 degrees.
There are a number of products available to control grassburs. Pre-emergent chemicals like Balan, Pendulum, and Rezilon prevent the plant from germinating but must be applied early in February (may be reapplied after the first hay cutting). Post-emergent chemicals like Target and Pastora kill the plant after it has germinated and should be applied late April/May.
We carry a variety of chemicals that target broadleaf weeds. There are a number of chemicals on the market that are not restricted. We recommend Duracor, Chaparral, and Cimarron. A granular Weed & Feed product may also be used to control weeds and fertilize in one application.
